Artist's Name

The name of the artists is significantly important, whether they use their real name, stage name or partly real name. A good, dashing name for the artists can always gives the audience a strong impression and creates the first impression of the artists.

Throughout the research, I realized that conventionally a folk singer prefer a stage name, for instance the famous female folk singer "Cat Power" is a very good example of a simple but stand-out stage name. Other good examples will be the legendary folk singer Bob Dylan, Bob Dylan is also a stage name for him, his real name is Robert Allen Zimmerman. Those names has really inspired me and therefore I decided to create a brand new identity which includes a dashing stage name for my artist.

I've searched various artists' names in order to gain some inspirations, and eventually I decided to use the name "Invisible Prince" as the stage name for my artist. The origin of the name "Invisible Prince" was a character from the famous TV drama <Touch>, and also a character from a book called <The yellow fairy book>, initially I used this name as joke, but I realized that this name has actually provided people a strong impression about loneliness and distant feeling which is the characteristics that my artist have, therefore this dreamlike name suits him very much.

This name will be appears in the video and also the digipak and the advert in order to create continues identity for my artist.
