In addition, due to the reason that I have previous experience on using Final Cut Express as I used to edit my film product for my AS foundation media portfolio, therefore it should be pretty easy and handy for me to get back on track soon and using complex editing techniques to make the effort for my music video.
While I'm at home, I have other two editing softwares which enables me edit my footages at home after school or on weekends, these two softwares is Imovie and Final Cut Pro.
I know some people might be judgemental about using imovie on A2 media courses, but I do have enough reasons to make me use that.
First of all, because all my footages were taken by a DSLR camera which means it's all in HD quality, therefore it could take quite a while to render them on Final Cut products and cause the computer overheat problem that could even cause system failure and lost all my works. But editing HD quality footages on imovie is very smooth and efficient, it has the excellent performance on editing HD quality footages and very handy to use, therefore I decided to use it while I can't use final cut products.
I have also purchased Final Cut Pro X as well at home on my Macbook, it is the very powerful to use and very professional, but due to the various reasons such as my laptop constantly experiencing overheat problems and caused software crashed and system failure, also because of all my footages are in HD quality therefore it takes insert and edit, so the performance of this software on my laptop is not comfortable. Therefore I will only use it when I want to attach some filters or special effects on my video.
