As I have mentioned in my initial ideas and treatment sheets, I decided to chosen my friend Ed Cotton to be the main character in my music video sequence. Because of I have chosen the folk music, in order to following the genre conventions I need someone who are able to play guitar and sing, and Ed Cotton perfectly fits my requirements, he's a part-time street busker who busking occasionally on the streets of York, he lives in York too that means I need to travel to do the shooting event, luckily it's not very far away. I kindly asked him on facebook if he will available for my music video project, and he agreed to join and help me out.
In addition, Ed and I has worked together before for my photography exam last year, therefore it will be easy for us to co-operate again as we are very familiar with each other and has the similar experience before, also because of Ed is working on a music video project as well therefore he will know exactly what to do.
